The sketches below are of two separate locations, but with different layouts and perspectives of those said locations. This helped me get a better idea of which direction felt best to go in.
This is my planning file where I WAS ABLE TO DETERMINE where I might use certain shapes and brushes to help me create the overall illustration. I was also able to see what typefaces I wanted to use and where I would use them.
The final image is what was produced from my work and the mockups I've put together.
Summary: Through this project, I was able to effectively create an illustration that had a look and feel fit for a children's book and/or poster. That was made possible through the steps I took with the use of a project plan and sketches.
