The problem for this deliverable was that I didn't have a reference to base the design on, so it began with some initial layout designs. This helped me see what worked and what didn't.
The solution to my layout problem was pretty simple and it was more of a collaborative effort to land on this specific design for the lookbook. It turned out a whole lot better once it was placed in InDesign and I could actually see it in front of me.
Once again, the purpose of this project was to create whole new type of deliverable that hadn't been used in prior years for this annual fashion showcase. Being the 4th year of hosting it, this is the first lookbook that was created.
The end product for this deliverable was a cohesive layout and design that catered to the individual students themes for their looks in the fashion showcase. This allowed for some personalization for the students sections in the lookbook and broke away from the flowing gradient design that's seen on the front, back, and inside covers.
